Bitbase Launches Bitbase 2.0 Upgrade and New Mascot BENIE
Digital asset exchange Bitbase has announced the rollout of Bitbase 2.0, introducing a new brand identity, a mascot named BENIE, and a phased product update.

Bitbase 2.0 Rollout Begins
Digital asset exchange Bitbase launched Bitbase 2.0 on November 2, 2026, marking the start of a phased platform upgrade. The exchange introduced a new visual identity across its website, mobile application, and official social channels. The update operates under the statement market flows, we focus.
Alongside the new logo, the platform revealed a mascot named BENIE. BENIE will act as the face of Bitbase during communications with users. The mascot will help guide the community through upcoming platform modifications.
Phased Platform Development
The upgrade will unfold across three distinct stages. The initial phase launched on November 2, establishing a brand direction for the exchange. The second stage will alter the product experience, including the interface and user journey. The third stage will modify how users interact with the exchange.
Nicholas Lo, chief business officer at Bitbase, stated that the brand was chosen as the starting point to set a standard for future changes. Product experience and user participation will follow in subsequent steps to maintain a consistent direction.
Foundations from Bitbase 1.0
The new version builds upon the operational framework established during the Bitbase 1.0 era. Previous operations included a product suite covering spot trading, futures, tradfi, and earn products. Asset coverage currently includes major digital assets alongside tokens with strong market interest.
Regulatory compliance during the first stage involved registration as a money services business with fincen in the United States. The exchange also registered as a digital currency exchange with austrac in Australia. Monthly proof of reserves are maintained with custody security supported by fireblocks.
