AI agents can now pull signed CoinGecko market data and wallet balances through API3's pay-per-request marketplace. According to Cryptobriefing, the CoinGecko API is now live on AirnodeHub, a platform built by API3 so autonomous software can buy data without human intervention.
API3 announced the integration on October 20, 2026. CoinGecko highlighted the launch two days later on October 22, noting that the listing provides verified market data and wallet details that programs can independently check.
Standardized Discovery and Cryptographic Proof
API3 launched the platform in early access on October 5, 2026, debuting with approximately 36 data services covering market data, foreign exchange rates, news, and weather updates. Every service on the platform describes itself in a machine-readable format using OpenAPI specifications paired with x-airnode metadata.
This structure allows an agent to determine what a service offers without custom instructions. Furthermore, responses carry a cryptographic signature that attests to the data origin, ensuring reliability for developers building automated systems.
