Futu Securities now allows eligible Hong Kong professional investors to conduct direct Futu BNB deposits and withdrawals over the BNB Smart Chain.

Direct Blockchain Transfers Enabled for Qualifying Clients
Futu Holdings has expanded its digital asset services by enabling Futu BNB deposits and withdrawals for eligible professional investors in Hong Kong. Launched on October 23, 2026, through its subsidiary Futu Securities International (Hong Kong) Limited, the new service permits qualified clients to move BNB directly between self-custody wallets and their broker accounts instead of limiting transactions to closed-loop trading.
The transfers operate over the BNB Smart Chain using the BEP20 token standard. While deposit transactions flow straight into user accounts from self-custody wallets, withdrawals are subject to specific security controls. According to company details reported by Crypto Briefing, Futu requires destination addresses to be pre-verified and placed on an approved whitelist prior to executing outward transfers.
Operational Details and Regulatory Framework for Futu BNB Deposits
Processing times for outgoing transfers reflect additional administrative oversight rather than real-time settlement. Outward BNB transfers are typically processed by 6:00 PM HKT on the third business day following a request. Futu is currently offering the transfer functionality without charging additional platform fees.
Access to the deposit and withdrawal feature is restricted to clients qualifying as professional investors under Hong Kong regulations. Eligibility requirements include meeting specific net-worth criteria, such as maintaining a portfolio value of at least HK$8 million.
This rollout builds upon Futu's prior cryptocurrency initiatives in the region. In July 2026, the firm's PantherTrade unit introduced BNB trading pairs for professional investors, laying the groundwork for full wallet interaction.
