XRP ETFs Extend Winning Streak
US-listed XRP ETFs extended their inflow streak to 13 weeks even as major competing cryptocurrency funds experienced heavy withdrawals during the week ended October 9, according to data from SoSoValue. While broader market sentiment faced pressure, XRP products managed to attract positive net flows.
XRP funds added $11.31 million during the week, more than doubling the $4.74 million recorded in the prior week. The additions came primarily on Tuesday and Thursday, helping push cumulative inflows to $1.80 billion, though net assets dipped to $1.57 billion from $1.66 billion due to market price changes.
Broader Outflows Hit Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana
In contrast to the steady demand for XRP products, funds tied to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana suffered nearly $1.25 billion in combined weekly withdrawals. Bitcoin ETFs recorded $681.1 million in net withdrawals following a previous week of positive inflows, ending a brief three-week positive streak.
Ethereum products faced persistent selling across all five trading sessions, shedding $542.07 million and bringing cumulative net inflows down to $13.26 billion. Meanwhile, Solana ETFs registered $24.81 million in weekly redemptions, marking their first negative week since June and interrupting a lengthy period of positive subscriptions.
