Expansion of Tokenized US Stock Offerings

Securitize added thirteen new names to its platform, bringing the total lineup of tokenized US stock assets to twenty-five. The announcement arrived on November 2, 2026, following the initial rollout of twelve equities on October 8, 2026. The catalog expansion occurred in under four weeks.

The recent additions include large traditional companies such as Exxon Mobil, Johnson and Johnson, and Uber Technologies. Each token is backed one-to-one by real underlying shares held in custody without being lent out, according to company disclosures.

Tokens trade on the Solana blockchain and settle in the dollar-pegged stablecoin USDC. Buyers swap stablecoins for stock exposure without using a traditional brokerage cash account. Jump Trading provides liquidity support for the platform.

Legal Framework and Market Access

Securitize Markets, an SEC-registered broker-dealer and FINRA member, acts as the issuing entity. Legally, the tokens function as security entitlements under Uniform Commercial Code Article 8. This section of commercial law governs how people hold securities through intermediaries, matching the indirect ownership model used by ordinary brokerage customers.

Holders do not own paper certificates directly, and conversion options remain available in specific circumstances. The tokens are designed to integrate with Tokenized Securities Venues. The offering targets eligible investors residing in the United States, the European Union, and other jurisdictions.

Trading hours currently extend beyond standard United States market hours. Securitize plans to transition the platform toward round-the-clock availability.

Industry Context and Institutional Reception

The expansion coincides with the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation rolling out its own tokenization service. StoneX analysts evaluated this development in a note sent to clients on November 2, 2026. Analyst Mark Palmer argued that the institutional service validates the business model rather than threatens it because the two platforms target different markets.

The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation offering is permissioned and restricted to specific securities, participants, and blockchain networks. Securitize concentrates on public-blockchain tokenization, offering tokenized funds and equities that connect with decentralized finance applications.
